Parkour Community Give Charity For Flood Victims
Pekalongan’s Parkour Community,
Wirasena, gives charity for flood victims in Panjang, North Pekalongan. They
collect the money by doing some acrobatic attraction in many location, such as
in Hayam Wuruk crossroad and in front of Matahari Department Store at 29 th
May, 2018. People who watch their attraction will interested, so they may give
some money and it will be collected to help flood victims.
This
event is done in order to help flood victims and introducing parkour which very
strange and not common in Pekalongan’s people. They start this event at 4 p.m.
after pray ashar and doing some attraction while waiting for adzan maghrib or
as called as “Ngabuburit”. When adzan maghrib came, they stopped their event
and buka puasa with all of Wirasena members. So, this event is not only
collecting money for charity, but for all Wirasena members to do “buka puasa”
together.
This
event makes many peolple enthusiastic because maybe they never see parkour
attraction live in the street just like what Wirasena do. Wirasena is very
creative, because they can make parkour attraction to collect money for flood
victims, and maybe this street parkour event is the first which is ever done in
Pekalongan. This event has two positive meaning, the first is to help flood
victims and the second is to grows solidarity of all Wirasena members, said Abdurrahman,
the head of Wirasena parkour community.
